Just finished coaching another great Dale Carnegie session. Now, I just boarded the Metro train from Tysons Corner to Arlington, VA to teach my Wednesday evening yoga class at Core Power Yoga (Clarendon).
Does it bother me that I don't have my car (yet)? Nope. Do I complain about not getting home until 11:30pm on Wednesday night, get 5 hours sleep, and wake up at 5am to be at work by 7am? Never! Why not? You may ask.
Because there was a time in my life when I didn't have such opportunities to teach, train, grow and get better. Now that I have them, I cherish every moment. Why do I grind so hard? Because it puts me closer to achieving my goal of becoming a professional speaker, trainer and coach. The grind is where the magic happens. I understand it. I respect it. I embrace it.
